FRANCIS ANN DILLARD SMITH MELBOURNE Ann D. Smith, was called home to her Lord on Mon day, October 30, 2006. Ann was born in Miami, FL on May 7, 1930. A 48 year resident of Brevard County, she was a homemaker and very active with her church, St. Johns Episcopal Church. Ann attended Florida State University and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She was the founding president of the Melbourne Alumnae Panhel lenic Organization in 1959 and president again in 1983-1984. Ann enjoyed home decorat ing, cooking and above all trav eling in our motor home. She cooked everywhere she went and teamed-up with a church friend to provide a catering serv ice for church members and others, mostly weddings. Survivors include her hus band of 57 years, Carl E. Smith of Melbourne; sister Cecelia (Monte) Taylor of Ontario, Cal.; sons, Michael (Mireille) Smith, Jeff (Joan) Smith, all of Mel bourne and Randall (Eva) Smith, of Pompano Beach, FL.; two grandchildren, John and Alicia; and two great grandchil dren, Devon and Dylan. A Celebration of Life Memori al Service will be held at St. Johns Episcopal Church. on Friday, November 3, 2006, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the St. Johns Epis copal Church Memorial Fund.
