BOOTH-BROOKS, Frances Sarah "Trixie" 80 years young, on January 22, 2003 with her daughter at her side. Late of Windsor. Loving mother of Deborah Waywell and friend Arnie Charlton of Amherstburg; Katherine and husband David Bernon of Tecumseh. Dear daughter of the late Oliver and Lil Brooks. Dear "Nana" of Adam and Brittany; Amanda, Kalie and Gillian. Dear sister of the late Wilfred and Alfred and cherished friend of the late Ted Everton. Trixie was a longtime employee of Sears, where she was the social director, had volunteered with the Order of Alhambra, was a Girl Guide Leader, had been an active parishioner of St. Mark's-by-the-Lake Anglican Church, had knit for the Children's Wish Foundation and had served in the W.A.F.'s in W.W. II. Visiting Saturday 3-5pm and 7-9pm and Sunday from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will take place Monday January 27, 2003 from The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel , 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830) at 9:45 am to St. Mark's-by-the-Lake Anglican Church (150 St. Mark's Road) for the Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 am. Rev. Kevin George will be the celebrant. Cremation will take place with the burial of the cremated remains at Ramsgate, Kent, England. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated. "Mum will be greatly missed by her friends and family around the world." A tree will be planted in memory of Frances Booth-Brooks in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady, Sutton, Morris Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 28, 2003. All are welcome.
