MERIDEN - Florence Marshall, 82, died on Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, at MidState Medical Center, in Meriden after a brief illness. She was born April 12, 1926. Survived by her three children, John Gund, of New Hampshire, Sharon Empronto, of Meriden and Robert Lavoie, of Wallingford; one brother, Wilfred Miller, of Wallingford; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. There will be no calling hours with a private burial. Anyone wishing to contribute may do so in her memory to the Meriden Human Society. Yalesville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
