Ella M. Davis of Greene Ella M. Davis, 87, of Greene, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Davis; parents, Earl and Alice Hill; 2 sisters, Donna and Sandra; and by 2 brothers, Norman and Burdick. She is survived by a sister, Jennie Burkle, Demming, New Mexico; and nephew, George Wideman, Johnson City. Ella was employed by Raymond Corporation in Greene for many years. She was a member of Greene Grange and First United Methodist Church, Greene. Graveside services will be held at noon Tuesday at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Rev. Amy Gregory, Pastor of her church, will officiate. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango St., Greene, NY 13778. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 5 Chenango St., Greene, NY 13778.
