UMPHREY, Elizabeth N. (Coates) 1948 – 2013 Liz passed away peacefully September 9th, 2013. She was a loving daughter, sister, and loyal friend to many. She leaves behind her parents John & Joyce Coates, sisters Sandy & Charlotte (Shu), brothers Chris & Jamie. She was predeceased by sister Anne. She will be remembered fondly by her nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts, as well as many dear friends. Liz was an incredible person with a great love for life. Many thanks to the staff of palliative care at BGH. A Memorial Service to take place in the Chapel of Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road in Richmond, BC on Friday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. on Mayne Island, St. Mary's Magdalene.
