PLYMOUTH Edward J. McGee, of Plymouth, September 11, age 75. Devoted husband of Phyllis (Johnson) McGee. Loving father of Joseph F. McGee of Andover, Maureen Rooney of Plymouth, Elizabeth Montano of Melbourne FL, and Patricia Welch of Manchester NH. Edward was the grandfather of eight. He worked as a Damage assessor for FEMA as well as for the Highway Dept. for the State of Massachusetts. Edward served his country in the Air Force for 4 years, later retiring from the MA Army National Guard. He was a friend of Bill W. There will be a gathering for family and friends at the Pinehurst Village Community Center in Plymouth, on Sunday, September 14, from 2-6 p.m. The memorial service will take place at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth on Tuesday, September 16 at 11:00 a.m. Followed by burial in the MA National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:45 p.m. Donations in Edwards memory may be made to the ALS Assoc., 75 McNeil Way #310, Dedham MA 02026, or at www.als-ma.org.
