Dorothy Mae Harris, 86, of Louisville, died Tuesday, December 31, 2002, at Pine Tree Villa in Louisville. She was a native of Louisville, born June 14, 1916. She was the former Dorothy Mae Esterle, a former bottling plant employee for Brown-Forman Distillery and a Catholic. Her husband, Steven Harris, mother, Elizabeth (Gries) Weaver, and father, Patrick Esterle, preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, John Rupp; two daughters, Suzanne Baker and Barbara Jarvis; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2003, at Highlands Family Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Louisville.
