ARMSTRONG, DORIS Mrs. Doris Alene Armstrong passed away peacefully on the evening of Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Stensrud Lodge where she had resided for the past two years. Doris was born August 6, 1914 in Regina, and moved at age 4, with her parents to homestead in the Tyner district. There Doris married the love of her life Lyal Armstrong on June 14, 1939. After many years of farming, they moved to Saskatoon in 1959. Doris is survived by her son, Bob (Cathie), grandchildren, Rob (Monique) and Lorie (Wayne) Hill, great grandson, Jordan Kaufman; sisters, Mrs. Helen McNabb and Lola (Lee) McMiller. Doris was predeceased by her parents, Dalton and Winifred Collins; and her brothers, Harold, Bob and Clarence. A Private Family Service will he held at Eston, SK. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of the donor's choice are appreciated. Doris' family deeply appreciates the care and love extended to her by Dr. Jack O'Hashi, Dr. Mark Boechler, and the staff at Stensrud Lodge.
