MICHIGAN - Ms. Dianne Whitaker was born to the late Reverend James Whitaker, Sr. and Luella Whitaker on June 14, 1949. Dianne Whitaker passed away after a sudden illness on July 10, 2007. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Martinez. Her funeral will be held at Clarks Grove Baptist Church in Martinez by Dr. Fred D. Larson. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on July 16, 2007. She was preceded in death by four brothers, James Whitaker, Jr. (Josephine), Johnny Whitaker, Carl Whitaker, Mose Allen Whitaker and two sisters, Carietta Bowen (Arthur) and Lucretia Morton (Bill). She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Kimberly Whitaker; one son, Frank E. Coopwood, III; eight grandchildren, Carla, Crystal, Eric, Evans, Unique, Frank, Karon and Kapri; three brothers, Thomas E. Whitaker (Helen), Matthew Whitaker (Sarah), Vernon Whitaker; two sisters, Albert Thompson (Jessie) and Janice Larry; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.
