<!-- FH = Cremation Center Of Southern Utah --><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->David Allen WilliamsSaint GeorgeDavid Allen Williams, at the age of 78 years, passed away at his home in St. George, Utah, on July 20, 2014, of natural causes; although later in life, David waged a courageous fight against Parkinson's disease. David was born November 19, 1935, to James Stewart Williams and Norma Jean Allen Williams in Logan, Utah. Dave graduated Logan High class of 1953, with honors, where he was active in debate, tennis, and the ROTC. In 1958, David earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Utah State University. David received an officer's commission as a distinguished Army ROTC graduate, and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. After graduating from Utah State University, David served with distinction in the Signal Corps as the officer in charge of the up-range radar sites of White Sands Missile Range. Professionally, David contributed much over his life. He worked for Atomics International designing control systems for nuclear reactors. During the Viet Nam War, David served as the Program Manager for the manufacture of the radio used as the primary means of communication by US ground forces. David also worked as Vice President of Manufacturing for Vista International, where he operated plants in three states building mobile homes and recreational vehicles. David spent most of his life working for Montek, which was a division of E-Systems for many years. At Montek, David worked in various capacities, including Market Manager, Manufacturing Director, VP Operations, and Product Line VP. In 1984, David was appointed VP and General Manager of the Montek. Dave retired in 1996. The love of David's life was Carole Orlene Hansen, who he was happily married to since March 22, 1957. David was an active outdoorsman. He loved hiking, biking, golf, tennis, skiing, bridge, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Hawaii was special place to David, and enjoyed many wonderful memories with friends and family in that special place. The family wishes to thank all of David's friends for the wonderful memories, kind words, and support. David is survived by his wife Carole, sons, David Jr., Jeffery (Laura), Bradford (Shannon), his younger brothers, Stewart Jr.,(Barbara), A. Thomas (Sue), sister Pat (Roy), and five grandchildren Emily, Andrew, Cole, Madeleine, and Jack. A private service and celebration of life was held by his family in his memory. In lieu of flowers, Carole would like you to honor Dave by going for a walk or hike and reflect on a happy memory of him.Arrangements by Cremation Center Of Southern Utah
