WILLIAMS, David A. It is with great sadness and some relief we announce the passing of David A. Williams at the age of 94 on Tuesday, October 6th, 2015 in West Vancouver, BC. He went peacefully with his wife of 58 years at his side. David was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on March 13th 1921. In 1946, David received his C.A. qualifications which over the years took him to Saint John, Montreal, Toronto and finally to Vancouver where in 1986 he retired from Western International Communications. It was in Toronto where David met his future wife Marg and where their three children were born. David was an active family man and spent summer weekends at the cottage with family and friends, and skiing in the winters. He enjoyed a rich business life and never shied away from advancements technology brought to his world. He found great enjoyment in opera and musicals but the hallmark of David''s life was helping others, preferably without credit. He would not have us grieve, but smile and remember a rich life well lived. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by the many he touched. David is pre-deceased by his younger brother Ivor. He is survived by his sister Glenys (Jack Miller), loving wife Marg, his three children, Sandra, (Eric Hancox) Grant, Craig (Christine Pearce), and sisters in law Joan Williams and Ruth Mathers. A memorial service/celebration of life will be held at the West Vancouver United Church on Saturday, October 17th at 12:30. Our warmest thanks to the kind staff at Inglewood Care Centre who cared so much for David.
