<!-- FH = MANASOTA MEMORIAPARK -->WILLIAMS, Clara I., was born in Burlington Flats, N.Y., January 7, 1919,to Ray and Myrtle Telfer. She died at home Friday, March 25, 2011, while tending her flowers in her garden. She was 92. Clara and her husband, Harold Hime, moved to Fort Myers Beach, Fla., from New York in 1947, with their three children. They owned and operated a bar and restaurant there for a number of years, and later one in Sanford, Fla. As time went by, they switched to a more quiet life and opened a plant nursery in Fern Park, Fla., which they ran until Harold's death in 1963.Clara remarried and her husband, Pete Fisher, ran the Fisherman's Cove Bar & Restaurant in Terra Ceia, Fla., for a number of years. After Pete's passing, Clara remarried and her husband, Ernest Williams, leased the restaurant now known as The Crab Trap "One." Ernie passed in 1993. Clara loved birds and raised 2,500 of them to be exact. She loved to make the most beautiful quilts and shared them generously with family and friends. As you can see, she had a full and happy life. Clara did things her way, and everyone did what Clara wanted them to do - she was quite the "Diva!" Clara is survived by her daughter, and best friend, Sharon (John) Brooks-Evans of Plant City, Fla.; daughter, Beverly Rogers of Tampa; son, Ray Harold Hime of Orlando, Fla.; and 13 beloved grandchildren, Derek Harold Ingram, who was Clara's right arm and was with her in the garden that day.
