PATTERSON, Christine Mary Died peacefully at Glengarry Hospital on June 3, 2005 following a short illness. She was predeceased by husband Walter and son George. She will be sadly missed and survived by daughter Elaine, 3 grandchildren, 4 great granddaughters and family dog "Benj." Chris was a native Victorian, and attended Willows Elementary School, Oak Bay High School, and obtained a teaching degree from the University of Victoria. She taught 10 years in the Peace River country, 18 years at Quadra Elementary School, and 8 years at Willows Elementary School. Chris had many interests; which included bridge, hiking, golfing, swimming, gardening, and was an avid reader. In addition, she was also an active member at the Monterey Centre. Many thanks to Dr. Cubbage and Dr. Nuttall, and the kind and caring staff at Glengarry Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 8th at McCall Bros. Floral Chapel, Vancouver & Johnson St. Services will commence at 1:00 pm, with interment to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
