PARIS - Charlotte Darlene Smith, 81, widow of William E. Smith, died Saturday, July 19, 2014 at UK Medical Center. She was born February 28, 1933 in Lovington, Illinois, daughter of the late William and Dorothy Davis Atchison. She was a kindergarten teacher aid in the Bourbon County School System and a member of the Clintonville Christian Church. Survived by a son Jeffrey D. (Donna) Smith, two grand-daughters Gracen L. and Skye N. Smith, all of Evansville, Indiana; one brother Robert D. (Mary) Atchison, Marion, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 7pm Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Clintonville Christian Church by Rev. Charles Kemp. Visitation will be after 4pm Wednesday at the church. Deacons and Elders of the Clintonville Christian Church will serve as honorary bearers. Thursday, July 24 there will be a visitation from 1-3pm at the Christian Church in Lovington, Illinois with burial to follow in the Keller Cemetery in Lovington.
