KEYSVILLE, Ga. - Charles Kenneth "Kenny" Williams, 86, loving husband of 66 years to the late Virginia Hayes Williams, entered into rest Monday, March 24, 2014 at Keysville Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, March 27, 2014 in the James Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Atkinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Stapleton Memorial Gardens Cemetery. One of thirteen children born to the late Queen Parrish Williams and the late Sam Williams, Kenny was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County where he was a logger and dairy farmer. He was a strong, independent, kind and generous man as well as a loving, devoted husband, father, son and brother. Kenny loved his family above all else and was most content in their presence. Kenny was also preceded in death by nine siblings. Survivors include his children, Connie M. Moss (Willie), Charles K. "Bubba" Williams, Jr. (Lisa), Cherry Smith and Sue Utley (Buddy); three siblings, Cecil Williams (Betty), Joe Williams and Mary W. Hall; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be Michael Glabas, Chris Newsome, Victor Utley, Keith Williams, Ricky Williams and Wesley Williams.
