Williams, CarolynCarolyn Williams, age 76, of Ansonia, entered into rest on Friday, February 14, 2014, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. She was the devoted wife of the late Stephen Williams. Carolyn was born in Derby on September 24, 1937, daughter of the late Peter and Viola (Babcock) Novi, and she lived most of her life in Ansonia. She worked for Lifetouch for seven years, and previously retired in 1994 from US Surgical where she had worked for over ten years. She also formerly worked at the West Side Bakery in Derby. Carolyn is the beloved mother of Stephen Williams Jr, Ellen Williams, and Janet Phillips. She also leaves six cherished grandchildren, Marsha, Stacy, Tierra, Anthony, Darryn, and Jonathon, three great grandchildren, Cody, Brianna, and Cali Rae, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother Peter Novi and her sister Shirley Erwin. Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road in Shelton on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM. On Wednesday her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at the Church of the Assumption in Ansonia. Burial will follow at Mt.
