WILLIAMS Carolyn Lucille Williams, 73, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 10, 2013. She was born July 4, 1939 to the late Roland Turrentine & Corienne Gooding. Carolyn was a life long resident of Jacksonville, a long time member of First Coast Christian Center, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was a mighty prayer warrior. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Johnny; sons, John Williams, Jr. (Terri), Rodney Williams (Laura); daughters, Debbie Parker, Tammy Daymon (Allen); brothers, Randall Gooding (Monty), Jimmy Turrentine (Terri), Lacy Turrnentine; sisters, Norma Echevarria, Susan Bunch (Mitch); 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 13 at 11AM at First Coast Christian Center, 2724 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Pastor Perry Fruscella officiating. Interment will follow in Eubanks Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening (TODAY) at the church from 6-8PM.
