On Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus, Intensive Care Unit, in her 36th year. Caroline Anne McGee passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness associated with diabetes and kidney disease. Caroline will be sadly missed by her daughters Sarah and Jennifer (Estabrooks), her parents Eleanor and Henry McGee, her brother Michael, dear friend Steven Flinn, many relatives in Niagara, Hamilton and Western Canada, and her many friends and acquaintances in the Kemptville and Ottawa areas. Special thanks to the staff at ICU and the Ottawa General Rehabilitation and Dialysis Units for their loving care; the Kemptville and Winchester Hospitals; and the OPP and ambulance units which responded to her needs at various times. Thanks also to Kemptville and District Home Support Inc. Caroline was an inspiration in courage and the love of life for which she so valiantly fought in spite of the ravages of her illness. donations to your local Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Diabetic Association would be a sincere form of appreciation for the support she received from these wonderful organizations. At her request, a private interment has taken place. Arrangements in care of the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry. A memorial service in celebration of Caroline's life will be held at a later date.
