GOODREAU, Cecil Eugene, 74, a resident of 1433 Bashi Road, Thomasville, AL, died Tuesday, July 24, 2001 at Carraway Regional Medical Center. He was born in Liberty, Nebraska on November 21, 1926. He was a former owner WJDB Radio Station in Thomasville. He was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church and a member of American Legion Post #12. Funeral services will be held from O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, July 26, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jimmy R. O'Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville, Alabama. Survivors include his wife, Mexie Goodreau, Thomasville, AL; two sons, Gary Nelson Goodreau, Mobile, AL and Jim Goodreau, Birmingham, AL; brother, Francis M. Goodreau, Orangeville, CA; two granddaughters, Brittany Goodreau, Prattville, AL and Bridgette Goodreau, Birmingham, AL; one grandson, Harley Goodreau, Mobile, AL and three step-granddaughters, Mickie Miller, Mobile, AL, Brittany Miller, Mobile, AL and Tabitha Etheridge, Marion, AL. Pallbearers will be Shelton Jackson, Carroll Scarbrough, Mac McHenry, Ivy Griffin, Robert Jones and Joe Gray. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dige Bishop, Don Nichols, Fred Huggins, Charles Antoine, Harold Spinks, Tom Griffin and Houston Pierce.
