Memorial Service for Carl Barton Williams, 87, of Ormond Beach, who died Wednesday, January 18, 2012, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, January 23 at Tomoka Christian church, 1151 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach with the Reverend Dr. Joe Putting officiating. Mr. Williams was born in Trenton, NJ and moved to Ormond Beach in 1999 from Tampa. He served in the U.S. Army at Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. He graduated from GMI in 1950, and worked for General Motors as Engineer until he retired in 1987. He was an active member of Tomoka Christian Church. He is survived by his wife of almost 13 years, Irene; stepdaughter, Ingrid and husband Colonel Paul Bugenske, USAF, of San Angelo, TX; three grandchildren, David, Steven and Erin; and a niece, Betty Abrams of Lambertville, NJ. Memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund of Tomoka Christian Church at the above address.
