STARR, Brian James - Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit, Sarnia, on Thursday July 31, 2008. Brian James Starr age 56 years of RR#1 Mooretown. Much loved father of Cassie and her partner Dan Thompson. Loving son of Margaret Starr and the late Leo (2001). Dear brother of Joan Hurst and her husband Brian of Sarnia, Barb Dunn of Sarnia, Sue Taylor and her husband Larry of Corunna, Patrick Starr and his wife Sue of RR#1 Mooretown, Cathy Gare and her husband Darryl of Lion's Head and Matthew Starr and his wife Lou Anne of RR#1 Mooretown. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Brian was a long time member of Local #793 of the International Union of Operating Engineers. At his request there will be no funeral home visitation. A private family memorial service will be held at the KNIGHT FUNERAL HOME in Corunna. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the London Regional Cancer Clinic, Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit of the V.O.N.
