HORN Beverly Theresa (nee Wackar), 84 years old, died after a short illness at Milford Manor in West Milford, NJ on Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Born to Albert and Mary Wackar in Jersey City, NJ, she lived in Jersey City before moving to the Highland Lakes section of Vernon Twp., NJ 27 years ago. Mrs. Horn worked as the secretary/treasurer of Bristol-Donald Co. in Newark, NJ for 20 years before retiring in 1987. She was a past president of the Our Lady of Fatima Society at St. Nicholas Church in Jersey City, NJ, a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Highland Lakes, NJ, a member of the Civilian Air Patrol during WWII and was an avid gardener and talented artist. Mrs. Horn is predeceased by her husband, Charles Horn(2002) and is the devoted mother of Michele Alsberge of Saylorsburg, PA, Kim Horn of Highland Lakes, NJ and Gary C. Horn of Lakeland, FL. Dear sister of Rosemary Gerard of Westport, CT and Alberta Calzaretta of Belray Beach, FL. Loving grandmother of Jennifer and Michael Horn, Eric, Kristen and A.J. Alsberge. The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon, NJ on Sunday, December 14, 2008 from 2-6 PM. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 9:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Highland Lakes, NJ at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Vernon Twp., NJ. Memorial gifts to the Michael J.
