TEWKESBURY, Bertha (Becky) - A resident of Tilbury, formerly of Mitchell's Bay passed peacefully Friday April 27, 2007 at the Tilbury Manor in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Tewkesbury (1995). Mother of David and his wife Robin of Walkerton and Lori Dunning and her husband Joe of Windsor. Dear grandmother of Erin, Jeff, Matthew and the late William (Billy) Tewkesbury and Keith and Ryan Dunning. Sister of Joyce and her husband George Seifert and Audrey and Larry Walthers. Predeceased by her parents John Henry and Roberta Mack and brothers Gilbert, Maurice and Theodore, all of B.C. Becky will be remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was a veteran of WWII, a proud member of the RCAF and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28 of Chatham. Thank you to Chatham Retirement Resort for 12 years of TLC and to Tilbury Manor. The family will receive visitors Tuesday May 1, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the BOWMAN FUNERAL HOME, 4 Victoria Ave, Chatham (519-352-2390). A funeral service will take place Wednesday May 2, 2007 at 2:00 p.m in the funeral home with pastor Andrew Nelson officiating. Interment to follow in Owen Cemetery.
