GRAHAM, Beatrice "Bea" Mae July 29, 1929 - February 9, 2008 Beatrice Mae Graham, beloved wife of Pat of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the age of 78 years. Bea was born in Saskatoon, SK and she moved with her family to Calgary at the age of eight. She attended Western Canada High School. For many years she worked with A.G.T. as a telephone operator. Bea married Pat on January 4, 1952 and in 1970 they worked and started a self-help group (7th STEP Society) from their home and then moved to another location and started a half-way house making it into a worldwide organization. Bea enjoyed her work and helping others. Besides her loving husband Pat of fifty-six years, Bea is survived by her son Colin and daughter-in-law Noreen; sister Jean Duke all of Calgary; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Midge in 1986. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway's Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bea and Pat Graham Bursary Fund at Mount Royal College, Room A150, 4825 Mount Royal Gate S.W., Calgary, Alberta T3E 6K6. In living memory of Bea Graham, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Park Memorial Chapel, 5008 ELBOW DRIVE S.W. Telephone: 403-243-8200.
