ObituaryBARBARA SANDERSCANDOR, NY - Barbara Sanders, 75, of Candor passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2006.She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Gary Sanders, Greg and Mindy Sanders; three grandchildren, Lynn Ferrell, Brandon Sanders, Chelsea Sanders; great-granddaughter, Jesslyn Ferrell; two brothers, Richard and Virginia Ahart, Alan and Jean Ahart; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and James Roberts, Rita and Fred Quinlan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.Mrs. Sanders was a teacher for over 30 years for the Candor School District. She was an active member of the Candor American Legion Auxiliary.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, with the Rev. Philip Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara Sanders' memory to the Candor American Legion Auxiliary, 90 Spencer Road, Candor, NY 13743.
