Ashley Elizabeth McGuire, 22, of Shady Grove and formerly of Old Town, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital of natural causes.She was born in Gainesville Sept. 28, 1989 and lived in Old Town for 20 years before moving to Shady Grove with her fiancé, Waylon Cruce.She enjoyed fishing and hunting, being a homemaker, country music and reading the Holy Bible. She graduated from Dixie County High School in 2008. She was enrolling into college in January 2013 to become a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse.She was preceded in death by her cousin, Sabrina Hayes; great-grandparents, James and Dorothy Hayes and Edgar and Mable Thompson.Survivors include a daughter, Khloe Cruce; son, Jacob Cruce; mother, Lena McGuire; father, James McGuire,Sr.; fiancé, Waylon Cruce; grandparents, Danny and Mabeline Hayes; sisters, Jamie McGuire and Samantha McGuire; brother, James McGuire Jr.; aunt, Geanna Hayes; uncle, Ira (Kimberly) Hayes and many nieces, nephews and cousins.A visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 28 from 6-8 p.m. at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home.Arrangements are under the care of the Rick Gooding Funeral Home, Cross City.
