JOHNSTON, MARGUERITE ANNE Anne Marguerite Johnston died peacefully at Lincourt Manor Nursing Home, St. Stephen, NB February 23, 2006. She was born August 2, 1916 at Mazerolle Settlement, NB to Annie May (King) St. Thomas and Napoleon St. Thomas. At a young age she moved with her family to St. David Ridge, where she lived for most of her life. In 1942 she married Elston Alvan Johnston of St. David Ridge. Marguerite worked for several years as a hand dipper at Ganongs, later as Dietary Supervisor at Calais Regional Hospital, retiring in 1987. She enjoyed needlework, gardening and her family. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, her sisters Clementine Yeowell and Adelaide Tuddenham. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Johnston (Tom Moffatt), St. David Ridge, her son, Elston Johnston (Pat O'Neill), Richmond, B.C., grandchildren, Annapurna Johnston-Moffatt, Tristan and Danica Johnston, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Service will be held at the S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Wednesday March 1, 2006 at 10 AM. Interment at St. David Ridge Cemetery. No visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Lincourt Manor, Charlotte County Boys and Girls Club, Charlotte County S.P.C.A., or charity of ones's choice.
