Alma Sargent Cox, 85, of 332 Victor Circle, died on Thursday, November 30, 2006, at Riverside Living Center.Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse H. and Bertha Lee Barnett Sargent, and wife of the late James Leonard Cox.Mrs. Cox retired from Scott Manufacturing, and was a member of Brandon Baptist Church.Surviving are a daughter, Linda Lollis, and husband, Don, of Piedmont; two sons, Don Cox of Greenville and Steve Cox and wife Vicki of Fountain Inn; a brother, Jimmy Sargent, of Anderson; a sister, Valli Mae Cromer of Greenville; and two grandsons, Chris Lollis and Deric Cox.She was predeceased by two sisters, Flois Rainey and Louise Baldwin, and three brothers, L.B., Grover, and Clarence Sargent.Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery, West, with visitation from noon to 1:15 p.m., prior, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.The family is at their respective homes.
