Mrs. Annie B. Humphrey, age 77, of Hoschton, GA died Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Oaks at Limestone in Gainesville, GA. Mrs. Humphrey was born in Birmingham, AL to the late, Dempsey D. and Virginia F. Westwater Brooks. She was a member of the Baptist faith and was employed as a bookkeeper. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Humphrey was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Humphrey; daughter, Julia Lynn Humphrey; and son, Richard Allen Humphrey.Mrs. Humphrey is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Brooks and Rebecca A. Humphrey of Hoschton, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cecilia B. and Dr. O.E. Rollings of Fort Myers, FL and Judy B. and Eddie Hickman of Alabaster, AL; grandchildren, Stephanie, Joshua, Michelle, and Christina Humphrey; and eight great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, August 27 at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, AL with Rev. Jay Jackson officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gideons International (www.gideons.org) of one's choice. Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, GA is in charge of arrangements.
