Obituary of William Watkins

William Edward (Billy) Watkins, age 73, of 100 Glendale Manor, died Saturday, November 15, 2008, at his home. He was born in Clinton and was the son of the late W.E. "Red" and Jennie Arnold Watkins and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Downs. Mr. Watkins was retired from Clinton Mills after 43 years of service and was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Kim and Steven Windsor of Clinton and Wendi Wyatt of Waterloo; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, Kim Windsor, 103 Devon Road, Clinton.
