Obituary of William-H. O-Hara

O' HARA, WILLIAM H.William H. "Billy" O'Hara, 75, Died Thursday, May 29, 2008, at E.T. York Hospice Care Center; Gainesville, FL. Billy was born in Hawthorne, FL January 7, 1933 to George E. and Ethel Howard O'Hara. Billy attended the Ringling School of Art where he attained an Associate of Arts Degree. He was a Women's Clothing Designer both in New York City and Sarasota. He also loved the Stauroponilas Opera. Billy returned to Hawthorne in 1980 where he lived the remainder of his life. Billy was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hawthorne.Billy is survived by his sisters Grace O'Hara Kea of Hawthorne, FL and Norma O'Hara Lewis of Bartow, FL., niece and nephews Dr. Joyce Story, Charles Hubert Story, Steven Lewis and David Lewis. Graveside services for Mr. O'Hara will be held Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008 at 10:00am in the Hawthorne Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Milam Funeral Home, Inc. 311 S.
