Obituary of William-Frailey Radford


Radford, (Bill) William Frailey, age 64 of Big Pine Key passed away Thursday June 16 after a short illness. He is a second generation Floridian. He was an avid commercial fisherman and retired Carpenter from Local 123. He built his own commercial fishing business and designed boats for his business and family members using only templates and a stack of lumber. He was involved in the Organized Fisherman of Florida (OFF). He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife Karen. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law John & Julie of Cooper City, daughter Tammy of Big Pine Key, and son Paul of Hawaii; his sister MaryAnn Gilbert of Melbourne; and brother Wayne of Big Pine Key. He is survived by seven grand children: Michael, Cristina, James, Jennifer, Brendon, Tara, and Joey. He has numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be Saturday June 25, 2005 2-4 PM at Dean Lopez Funeral Home, 31140 Overseas Hwy., Big Pine Key, FL 33043, phone 305-872-2929. Following cremation, a dockside service with a burial at sea will be held in Big Pine Key in July.
