Obituary of Wallace-Thomas Campbell

Trinity<!--Trinity-->Funeral for Wallace Thomas Campbell, 87, of Trinity will be Friday, July 10, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Caddo Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Campbell, who died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born Feb. 4, 1922, in Lauderdale County to Albert and Clara Morgan Campbell. He was employed by Gobble Fite Lumber Co. for 74 years. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed picking blackberries. Survivors include his wife, Dottie Campbell; two sons, Gary Campbell and his wife, Barbara, of Paw Paw, Mich., and Dewey Moran and his wife, Connie, of Athens; three daughters, Linda VanAtti and her husband, Ray, of Gobles, Mich., Mary Price and her husband, Athie, and Margie Sandlin and her husband, Glen, both of Trinity; five stepchildren; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren; and 14 stepgreat-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Gary Campbell, Clayton Massey, Ronnie Flick, Joseph Cottingham and Austin Browett.
