Obituary of Thomas O-Keefe

O' KEEFE Thomas V., of East Rutherford, NJ died on April 1, 2011. Born in New York City to the late Timothy and Margaret O' Keefe on November 4, 1928. He was a resident of Rutherford for 46 years before moving to East Rutherford in 2006. Thomas was a manager for Finast Supermarkets before retiring and then went on to own the Manor Sweet Shoppe in Rutherford for several years. He was a parishioner of the Church of St. Mary, Rutherford, NJ for 50 years and a member of the North Jersey Irish-American Club. Devoted to his faith he will be deeply missed. He is survived by his Beloved wife of 60 years, Rose (nee Scott). Loving father to Thomas, Theresa, Mary Baumann, John, Kevin and his wife Michelle, Kathleen Guarnera, Christine, and Kerry. Cherished grandfather to Amy Broomall, Matthew Guarnera, and Emily O' Keefe and great-grandfather to Sean and Ashlyn Broomall. Dearest brother to Margaret Pedoty and Timothy O' Keefe. Predeceased by his brother Joseph and sisters Patricia, Sr. Mary O' Keefe P.B.V.M. and Sr. Timothy O' Keefe P.B.V.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday April 4, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph R.C. Church, East Rutherford, NJ followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Family and Friends may visit Sunday April 3, 2011 from 3-7 PM at the Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home 41 Ames Ave. Rutherford, NJ.
