NEWTON Thomas James (Jimmy) At peace, on Tuesday, August 24, 2004, aged 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Esther (nee LeBreton). He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Cherished father of Heather MacDonald and Brian (Susan Overholt). Loving grandfather to Dana Macdonald (Barbara) and Katrina and Rachael Newton. Special thanks to the Hellyer and Smeaton families for their love and support. Special thanks to the staff of Orleans Villa, who so appreciated his gift of humour. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) on Friday, August 27, 2004, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service at Orleans United Church, 1111 Orleans Blvd., on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens following a reception.
