Obituary of Thomas-E. O-Malley

Thomas E. O'Malley, 91, of Clark, N.J., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral from the Walter J. Johnson Funeral Home, 803 Raritan Rd., Clark, on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 8:45 a.m., thence to St. Agnes R.C. Church, Clark, where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:45 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, N.J. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. To offer condolences, please visit www.walterjohnsonfh.com Mr. O'Malley was born in Atlantic City, N.J., to the late Patrick and Winifred (Walsh) O'Malley. He proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II. He graduated from Seton Hall University with a degree in accounting. He was a resident of Clark for 55 years. He was a member of the Clark American Legion Post 328 of Clark. Mr. O'Malley was manager of Inland Traffic for U.S. Lines of Cranford, N.J., for many years, retiring in 1992. Mr. O'Malley was the beloved husband for 60 years of Barbara (Stillman) O'Malley, and the devoted father of Edward T. O'Malley and his wife, Cherrie, of China. He was the cherished grandfather of Xella, Xagira and Xahannah.
