Obituary of Thomas C. Reardon


Thomas C. Reardon -->Thomas C. Reardon, age 69, of Plymouth, formerly of Dorchester, died April 24, 2013. He was a retired lieutenant of the Boston Fire Department E-18. Tom was a member of Boston Firefighters Local 718, Relief Fund, and Death and Welfare, Pinehurst Friendship Club, and Homeowners Assoc. He was a Vietnam veteran with the U.S. Navy. Son of the late John C. Reardon, lieutenant B.F.D. Rescue 1 and Eileen C. (McGrath) Reardon, he was the loving father of Christopher Reardon senior firefighter, Burlington, Vt., F.D. and his wife Karene of Starksboro, Vt.; grandfather of Mavis Reardon of Starksboro, Vt.; former husband of Patricia A. Pimental of Plymouth; brother of Ann Reardon of Plymouth, Marguerite Mooney of Brockton, Rosalie of Plymouth, Stephen of West Brookfield, Daniel of Brockton, James of Dorchester, the late Christine, Mary Muise, John Reardon, Eileen "Pat" Nunally Reardon and Rev. Robert F. Reardon O.M.I. of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and many special friends at Pinehurst Village in Plymouth. Visiting hours in the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court St. (Rte. 3A), Plymouth, Sunday 4-7 p.m. Funeral Mass in St.Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 126 South Meadow Rd., Plymouth, Monday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at 12:45 p.m. The family would like to thank the Jorden Hospital Cancer Center and the Cranberry Hospice and in lieu of flowers please make donations in Tom's memory to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
