Obituary of Theodore-Eugene Anderson

THEODORE E. ANDERSON HOBART, IN Theodore Eugene Anderson, age 85 of Hobart, passed away Monday, April 6, 2009. He was born February 1, 1924 in East Chicago, IN and was a WWII United States Marine Corps veteran. Ted retired from the E J & E Railroad in 1985 with 33 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents: Augustus and Sophie Anderson; daughter, Patricia Anderson Zickuhr; son, Darcy Anderson; and grandson, Jesse Shupe, Jr. Ted is survived by is wife of 64 years, Eleanore (nee Blicharski) Anderson; daughters: Kathie Sutherland, Marlene (Jesse) Shupe and Debbie Anderson, all of Hobart; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th Street, Hobart with Rev. Dominic V. Bertino officiating.
