Obituary of Susan Norton

NORTON Susan "Suzy," 54, of Toms River passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 29, 2015. Suzy was born in Illinois and moved to Glen Rock, NJ as a young child where she graduated from Glen Rock HS in 1978. She moved to the South Jersey area after her marriage in 1983 and has resided in Toms River since 1990. Suzy was a member of the Ocean County Mothers of Twins Club for 20+ years where she developed many friendships and enjoyed her many roles of involvement thru the years. In addition to being a wonderful mother, wife and homemaker, Suzy also worked for Victoria's Secret in Ocean County Mall, for the past 20 years. Suzy is survived by her husband of 32 years Chris and her twin children; Daniel and Allyson. Also surviving are her parents William (Bill) and Maria Koenecke of Glen Rock, her sisters; Karla Paschek and her husband Arthur of Rockaway and Julie Bernheisel and her husband Scott of Virginia Beach. In addition Suzy is survived by in-laws; Judy Norton of Highland Lakes, Susan and James O'Brien of Oakridge, Mary and John Podd of Barry Lakes. She will be missed dearly by her nieces and nephews; Stacey, Kelly, Megan, Jimmy, Jackie, Madison, Emily and Asaad. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 2 from 1-3 and 6-9 PM and on Tuesday 8:30-9:30 AM at "The Family Owned" Carmona Bolen Home for Funerals 412 Main Street, Toms River. A funeral liturgy will be offered Tuesday at 10 AM at Saint Joseph Church, Toms River.
