Obituary of Shirley-Anne Thomas

Shirley Anne Armstrong Thomas Shirley Anne Armstrong Thomas, 66 years of age, a lifelong resident of Springfield, Mo., left her earthly home on September 28, to be present with her Lord in her new heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Highfill; her father, Ancel Armstrong; and her step-father of 63 years, Fred Highfill. Surviving her are her children and their families, Terri Dennis, Grace Larbey (George), Tracy Ryan, Tancy Wahl, Thomas Osburn, Tobias Osburn (Shannon) and Nathaniel Thomas; her sisters, Mary Smart (Paul), Oma Dean (Kevin), and Rebecca Trantham (Rick); and her brothers, Thomas Highfill (Beth), and Bobby Highfill (Ann). Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4, from 4 to 5 p.m., in Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens on Monday, October 5, in the family plot, at 3:30 p.m.
