Obituary of Sarah-H. Ray

Sarah H. Ray, 94, Bradenton, died Feb. 22, 2004. She was born Aug. 24, 1909, in Grays Station, Ark., and came to Bradenton in 1943 from Memphis, Tenn. She retired as a registered nurse. She was one of the organizers of the Manatee County Red Cross. She was a United Methodist. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy R. Wilkes of Bradenton; a sister, Mary S. Herring of Bradenton; and a brother, George M. Hartin of Bradenton. The memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Bradenton Chapel.
