Obituary of Russell-I. Jordan

Russell I. Jordan of Binghamton Russell I. Jordan, 71, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully at home Monday, March 22, 2010, after a long battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Florence Jordan; and brother, Robert. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Carmen, Houston, TX; and granddaughters, Kelsey and Kendall; brothers, Ronald, Baltimore, MD and Albert, Mesa, AZ; several nieces and nephews; and his dear friend, Pat. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having proudly served his Country in the Korean War. He was retired from the Binghamton Psychiatric Center, having been employed as Director of Human Services. Russ was a member of the U.S. Parachute Assoc., became a licensed instructor and performed in numerous airshows. Later in life, he became an avid golfer, always ready to play one more round and for over 20 years he played in Geneganslet's golf league.
