Obituary of Rufus-Lee Jackson

JACKSON Rufus Lee Jackson, 77, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2004. A native of Jacksonville, Mr. Jackson was a member of Gardenview Baptist Church, had retired from the Mead Corporation and worked for Yarbrough Security Corporation. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Laressa W. Jackson; two sons, Rufus D. (Deborah) Jackson and Michael “ Timmy” Jackson; one granddaughter, Tiffany Michelle Jackson and one brother, J. R. (Dorothy) Jackson. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2004 in the Chapel of COREY- KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Avenue, with Rev. David Knight officiating. The committal service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in St. Johns United Methodist Church Cemetery in Alachua, Florida.
