Obituary of Ruby Saunders

Ruby Pearl Saunders, formerly of Mossy Grove, passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at her home in Leesburg, Fla.Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, George and Florence Pennington; brothers, Vernon, G.W., Elvin and Raymond; and sister, Pauline.She is survived by her sons, Dwain and wife Patricia Stewart of Lake Mary, Fla., Doug and wife Barbara Stewart of Candler, Fla., Dwight Stewart and Dan Boekelheide of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; daughters, Julia Hernandez and Kim Powers of Leesburg, Fla.; one granddaughter, Angela Burt and husband Mark; two grandsons, Michael Stewart and wife Shawn and Matthew Stewart and wife Brittany; and three great-grandchildren, Jessie, Jenna and Gunner.The family received friends Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 from 12-2 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services followed at 2 p.m. with Bro. Ralph Nance officiating. Interment was held in Petros Cemetery, Petros.Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg was in charge of arrangements.
