Obituary of Roger J. Bisson

BISSON, Roger J.Peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the age of 92 years. Partner of Berthe Vaillancourt. Remembered fondly by Berthe''s children and grandchildren. Husband by first marriage to the late Fernande Bisson (nee Boucher). Dear father of Michel Bisson and Jean Bisson (Deborah). Grandfather of Melissa, Matthew and Diana. Brother of Yvette Patenaude and Jeannine Desrochers. Predeceased by brother Gerard Bisson. Uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Roger was a proud member of the RCAF. He avidly enjoyed golfing and bowling for most of his life. The love for the game of golf started at an early age, when as a teenager, he caddied at the Ottawa Hunt Club. A sincere thank you is extended to the staff of Grace Manor for the excellent care provided. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Ottawa on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 4 – 7 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, followed by a Reception back at the St. Laurent Chapel.
