Obituary of Robert-S. Engel

ROBERT S. ENGEL "BEE BOB" HEBRON, IN Robert S. Engel "Bee Bob", age 79, of Hebron, was called home while sleeping on Monday, June 25, 2012. Robert is survived by his wife, Betty Engel of Hebron; children: Robert (Diane) Engel of Michigan City and Pamela (Edwin) Frailey of Hebron; grandchildren: Laura Engel of California, Robert and Christopher Engel of Michigan City; sisters: Marion Gilmore and Betty Dorin. Preceded in death by his parents: Howard and Lizzetta Engel; daughter, Jill Engel; brother, Howard Engel; and sister, Ruth Fraley. Robert most enjoyed beekeeping and being a member of the Northwest Indiana Beekeepers Association. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral and Cremation Services, 624 N. Main St., Hebron, IN with Pastor Bill Barnes officiating. Interment at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Hebron, IN.
