Obituary of Robert-James Garrow


GARROW, Robert James "Bob" In loving memory of Robert James "Bob" Garrow, 81 years of Sudbury who passed away Friday afternoon, May 9th, 2003 at the SRH - St. Joseph Health Centre. He was born in Windsor. Bob came to Sudbury in 1950 from Windsor. He was a mechanic at the Copper Cliff Mechanical Department having 34 years at INCO retiring 1984. He was a longtime member of the Sudbury Duplicate Bridge Club; a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br.#76 Sudbury; and a member of the INCO 1/4 Century Club. He enjoyed camping with his stepchildren. A Roman Catholic he had faithfully attended Holy Redeemer Church. Beloved husband of Marion (Rochon) Garrow of Sudbury; and the late Theresa (Picard) Garrow predeceased 1990. Cherished son of Edward and Lena (Knott) Garrow predeceased. Dear brother of Margaret Jagger of Ohio, Florence Denver of London and the late Jennie Dent and George Garrow both predeceased. Bob had no children of his own. He was blessed with many nieces, nephews, stepchildren and step grandchildren whom he loved and loved him in return. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church, 1887 Bancroft Dr. Sudbury, Monday, May 12th, 2003 at 10 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Prayers 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Donations to the Palliative Care Unit, the Cancer Center, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation; or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
