Obituary of Robert-Gerald Barton

Peacefully at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital on Friday January 24, 2003, at the age of 57. Beloved husband of Carolina Espinosa-Barton. Loving father to Kim (Allen Pajtasz) and Sherri (Jamie Clarmo). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren James, Amanda, Tyler, Steven, and Theresa. Son of Betty Barton (nee Baker) and the late Dr. Gerald Barton. Survived by sister Elizabeth and predeceased by brother Peter (Paula). Will be fondly remembered by good friend Betty-Anne, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nursing staff at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, in particular their nurse named Dean. Friends may pay their respects at the Winchester Funeral Home, 505 Church St., Winchester, ON, on Monday January 27th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will take place in the chapel of the Winchester Funeral Home on Tuesday January 28th at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Carol Poley-Delisle officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery, Chesterville. For those wishing, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
