Obituary of Robert-F. James

Robert F. Age 79 of 123 Durland Place, Watkins Glen, NY passed away on Friday, October 11, 2002 at his home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Helen Ketchum James. Son Richard (Julie) James and granddaughter Amber James of Webster, NY. Son John James of Watkins Glen, NY, sister, Dorothy Kloppel of Watkins Glen, NY, Brother, William James of Fullerton, CA. Sister-in-law, Alberta Ketchum of Brockport, NY and several nieces and nephews. Bob was a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy and served in World War II. He was the owner of Pellet & James Insurance Co, Watkins Glen, NY for 20 years. He was also an avid fisherman and trapper. He loved NASCAR and was a Yankee fan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Mr. James at the First Presbyterian Church, Watkins Glen, NY on Saturday, October 19, 2002 at 3:30 PM. The Rev. Beverly Karr-Lyon will officiate. Expression of sympathy may be directed to a charity of one's choice in Bob's name.
