Obituary of Rita-June Nolan

Rita June Nolan June 29, 2011 Rita June Nolan, 89, of Pennellville, passed away Wednesday at Francis House. Rita was predeceased by her husband, James Francis Nolan, and brothers Kenneth and Clinton Wood. She is survived by daughters Gloria Gilfilian of Preble, Jean Hamilton of Pennellville and Dolores Bohne of Mattydale; sister Vivian VanSlyke of Moravia; 14 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Burial will follow at Onon. County Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to either Francis House or Hospice of CNY.
